Book FINISHED!

"The main slogan for this project was "Vibrant, Bright and Beautiful" so we had to somehow link that to Salford.

The best place in Salford is the Salford Quays because of the buildings and the visual image at night. So I decided to have a book that would make people enjoy their journey towards the quays by actually doing some form of treasure Hunt. For this I started at the best Salford Pub which is The Creasent and stuck an image of a White Rabbit with a pint glass onto the pub [surprisingly the image is still there and this project was a few months ago]

Anyways the Rabbit is called Drunken Pete because I thought to have a comical teenage character so a drunken rabbit was the perfect one for this project especially for the term “Follow the White Rabbit”. Drunken Pete got so drunk and decided to go on a quick walk to sober up. “On drunken Pete’s journey he manages to find a place so beautiful and bright! Follow Drunken Pete’s tracks to see what he discovered and find his belongings on the way.” On the way to Quays I stuck an image of a Jacket, Watch, Hat and ID in various places which you will pass.
On each of the page I created an artistic image of the places you will see and buildings you will spot on your journey and each inside page opens to an A4 piece of paper. On that paper is a photographic journey and written directions with a small map telling you how to get there. Also the Book folds open on both sides instead of just one open fold."
