Lomotography
I have actually learnt another form of photography which i did not know! Which is Lomophotography, i didnt even know there was a camera called a lomo camera. Anyways for this computer lesson we were learning how to change a normal photo to a lomo effect. It was a very simple process but does actually make the photos look really effective. I think im going to try this technique alot more. [The step by step lomo process is included in my PDP]
Tshirt Design for Wagamama
I was able to learn more about illustrator for this lesson! Even though i knew the application already I did learn a few things on illustrator like shortcuts and some tools I have never really used. After we were shown how to use illustrator we were all given a task to attempt the Wagamama competition [http://www.wagamama.com/positivedesign] which is a tshirt design competition where we had to create an interesting graphic for their brand new uniform. They wanted something that all the staff would probably enjoy and something that wouldnt be boring and didnt seem too comerical. So i thought of this cookie monster theme by using a cutesy monster eating Wagamama. Suprisingly i found out the tutors themselves wanted to give a prize to one of the best tshirts in the lesson and the most effort and my design actually won! The free chocolate buttons was very tasty.
